Wellington’s hard rock band Curlys Jewels are kicking off 2025 with a brand new single called ‘Foolish’.
Following on from their self titled album which peaked at #5 on the Official NZ Top 40 Album chart, the band are continuing their tradition of big anthemic rock music. The band's lead singer Jel Pollock describes the song as “The unifying tale of escaping a narcissistic grip, and regaining control of one's own freedom.”
Foolish was produced by Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers, Bullet for my Valentine), mixed by Clint Murphy (Devilskin) and mastered by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound Nashville USA.
Curlys Jewels are planning a bunch of live shows across New Zealand from mid 2025. You may have seen them perform previously including support slots with international legends, Living Colour (USA) and kiwi heavyweights Devilskin, The Feelers, Alien Weaponry and Head Like a Hole.
